DirectShot Invited To Appear at Leading Fantasy Sports Trade Association Event
January 19, 2017. DirectShot has been invited to appear at The Winter Meeting of the Fantasy Sports Trade Association (FSTA), the primary professional organization for the fantasy sports industry. DirectShot founder and CEO Andrew Walworth will participate in “Elevator Pitch,” a session featuring a select group of new and cutting edge companies that will present breakthrough technologies and ideas for the fast-growing fantasy industry. The session is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon, January 24 at the Nashville Omni Hotel.
In his welcome to members, FSTA President Paul Charchian stressed the importance of the social aspects of the industry:
“While the past year has presented challenges to our industry, it has also demonstrated the staying power of fantasy sports. Our customers love the games, tools, and services we provide, and their numbers continue to grow. At the end of the day, fantasy sports players just want to play the game they love and have fun with friends. And that never changes.”
DirectShot’s Andrew Walworth said, “It is great to get an opportunity to speak before fellow members of the fantasy sports industry. We believe DirectShot provides a great tool for any fantasy sports platform seeking deeper engagement with their players, and we look forward to the session.”
DirectShot is at the forefront of personalized video production, using data and analysis to generate individualized video reports automatically and at scale. In September 2016, NASCAR deployed DirectShot’s proprietary technology to produce and deliver personalized video reports to its fantasy players. This is the first time that personalized video technology has been deployed in the fantasy sports industry.
